Well… meet the women behind it.

We’re the founders of Miss Mahjong, and now, we’re the same team bringing you The Mahjong Press, a fresh take on the American Mahjong card.

Between late-night design sessions, countless prototypes, and more group chats than we’d ever admit, we’ve built something we’re deeply proud of: a brand that blends tradition with imagination, makes learning the game easier, and creates products you actually want to keep on your table.

WHY WE CREATED MISS MAHJONG

Miss Mahjong started the way most great ideas do: with friends, snacks, and a table full of tiles. We wanted sets that felt fresh, design-forward, and reflective of our personalities. When we couldn’t find it, we made it.

Since then, Miss Mahjong has become a name players recognize, not because we shouted the loudest, but because players share our products with their friends, bring them to tournaments, and come back to collect the next design. That trust? That means everything to us.

WHY WE CREATED THE MAHJONG PRESS

American Mahjong is a game built on community, and the annual card is its anchor. But year after year, we heard the same thing:

The Mahjong Press is what happens when longtime players, teachers, designers, and slightly-obsessed enthusiasts put their heads together. Clearer layout, tear-proof materials, accessible suit indicators, and an overall cleaner, more intuitive card.
